Xuchao Zhao
Xuchao Zhao received his undergraduate degree in Geology from the College of Geosciences, Jilin University (China) in 2006.  As a graduate student he has worked at the Instiute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing, with a major in Cosmochemistry, since 2007.
Research Interests At present, Xuchao is working with Drs. Christine Floss and Frank Stadermann on searching for presolar grains in primitive meteorites.  These searches will be performed with the NanoSIMS and the subsequent elemental characterization will be carried out using Auger spectroscopy.
