Symposium Location The Robert M. Walker Symposium will be held at Washington University in the two Physics Department buildings, Crow Hall and Compton Hall. Parking will be available in the parking lot just east of Crow and Compton. See map above. Arrival and registration will be from 8:00 to 8:30 am in Compton Hall Rooms 241 and 245 on Thursday March 6th. The meeting itself will begin at 8:30 am in Crow 201. Posters will be available for viewing in Compton 241 and 245 throughout the two day meeting. See the program page for more details. All participants are, furthermore, invited to a casual get-together up on the 4th floor of Compton Hall on Wednesday March 5th from 3 to 5 pm to see the lab, meet old friends, etc. The banquet will be held in Holmes Lounge (see map above) on Friday March 7th and will begin with a reception at 6 pm, followed by dinner at 7 pm.
Restaurants We have assembled a list of restaurants in the area around Washington University (Delmar Loop and Clayton Rd areas) for lunch and/or dinner possibilities during the symposium.
Hotels Listed here are several hotels in the area around Washington University. Most are not within walking distance of the University (except for the Knight Center which is on campus and, possibly, the Cheshire Inn). However, many of them do offer shuttle service to campus, as noted individually below. The map at the bottom of the page shows the location of each hotel relative to Washington University.
