IntroductionHere it is possible to watch the cycle and block results while they are 'coming in' in real time. This is not only helpful for the very impatient operator who wants to know the sample's composition immediately, it also helps to decide whether a measurement should be shortened e.g. because a sample is sputtering away or because something else went wrong with the analysis. |

Data ShownThere are two different modes of display: 'Blocks' and 'Cyles'. You can swith back and forth between these modes by changing this button. Cycles: In this mode, the count rates for all measured species is plotted as a function of time. The horizontal axis now displays displays seconds (from the start of the first measurement). Note that the time interval between repeated measurements of the same species is different in those cycles that involve an automated peak centering. Blocks: In the Block mode, the horizontal axis shows the block number and the curves represent the corrected block results of count rates, ratios or delta values (see below). |

LegendIn the legend, count rates, ratios and delta values are abbreviated as C, R and D, respectively. Only count rates are available in the cycles mode. |

Item SelectionSelect the item to be displayed from this pull-down menu. Up to 10 different items can simultaneously be shown in the plot. The selected item shown here on the left is 'Delta Deuterium'. By default, some items are selected at startup: the first 10 species count rates in 'Cycles Mode' and the first 10 delta values in 'Block Mode'. The selections in both modes are independent of each other. To clear an item from the plot, select the 'empty line' from the top of the pull-down menu. |

Color SelectionThe line colors in the plot can be changed by clicking (and holding down) in the color boxes. A default selection of colors is always shown in the beginning. |

Clear All CurvesClears all selected items. |

Y-Axis StyleChoose a logarithmic or linear scale for the vertical axis. |
NormalizeThis option normalizes the display in such a way that the average of all data points for each curve is 100. It is thus possible to see e.g. if the decrease in count rates goes in parallel for 12C and 13C. |

Scale ModusIn 'Automatic' mode both axes automatically scale in such a way that the whole range of the data is visible in the plot window. Switching to 'Manual' turns this option off and allows the manual selection of the scale range (see below). |
Manual ScalingIf the manual scale mode is selected, it is possible to change the displayed data range by double-clicking on the highest (570 in this case) or the lowest number on the axis and entering a new value. |

Y-Axis FormatSelect the number format for the vertical axis here. It is possible to choose between Decimal and Scientific format and to choose the desired precision (i.e. the number of decimal places displayed). Several other options that are available here are meaningless. |
