IntroductionIf a running measurement uses automatic peak centering (the default), it can be helpful to check for shifts of the magnetic field. This window displays the relative shifts in single bit B-field values. At the end of each run, the results of the automatic peak tracking will be saved in the 'new format' data files in form of a table. Thus, it will always be possible to recreate this plot after the measurement if necessary. |

LegendThe names of all peaks that are being tracked (i.e. whose position is automatically determined during the measurement) are shown here. To change the default selection of colors for the graph symbols, click (and hold) on the colored squares and select a new color from the pop-up palette. |

Graph Area And Vertical AxisThe vertical axis of the graph represents the various iterations of peak centering. The originally selected peak position for each peak is shown as a dot at the top. The result of each subsequential peak centering is shown as a dot below, connected by a line. The changes in the magnetic field positions can thus be seen in a time diagram from top to bottom. |

Horizontal AxisThe horizontal axis represents relative peak shifts in single bit values. It is calibrated in such a way that the first dot of the first mass falls on '0 bits', the first dot of the second mass falls on '10 bits', the first dot of the third mass falls on '20 bits' etc. If the position of the first (or second) mass changes by 2 bits (e.g. from 32804 to 32806) the second dot of this mass will be shown at 2 bits (or 12 bits, respectively). At any rate, a straight vertical line indicates no shift in the peak position. |
