IntroductionWhen positions of mass peaks need to be calibrated manually at the beginning of a measurement, this window shows up. It waits for user interaction, while the primary beam is turned off. After the user starts the actual calibration, the beam is turned on and remains on for the measurement. |

List of MassesThis list shows the names of all mass peaks for the current measurement. The ones with a bullet in front need to be calibrated manually (both in this case). |

Start CalibrationAfter this window initially opens, it waits until the user starts the calibration by clicking on this button. After clicking on this button the primary beam will be turned on and the acutal calibration sequence starts. Make sure to not leave the beam on too long for the calibration. If necessary, it is better to have the instrument wait before pressing this button (with the beam off) than after doing so (with the beam on). After clicking this start button the window changes to the mode shown below. |
